I’m kind of like an amateur sleuth when it comes to health remedies. I enjoy discovering natural ways to stay healthy. I used to buy a detox drink at my local Farmer’s Market every week which is supposed to help your body burn fat, lose weight and fight diabetes. That drink was about $10 for a half gallon which would last a week. When I make it myself it’s more economical. I drink it once a day in the morning. If I don’t have time in the morning (or I forget), I’ll drink it before I go to bed. I mix enough for ┬áthe day and drink it immediately. I can definitely tell a difference when I don’t drink it. Here’s why it’s good for you.

Apple Cider Vinegar is full of good bacteria and enzymes. It contains acetic acid which studies show help your body burn fat, lose weight and fight diabetes. (I buy Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar)

Cinnamon is one of the best anti-oxidants. According to nutritionists it’s the number one herb/spice for balancing blood sugar.

Cayenne Pepper has been shown to drop blood pressure, increase metabolism.

Lemon Juice is good for balancing blood sugar and has an alkaline effect on our bodies which helps regulate PH. According to natural health experts, disease can’t exist when your body is alkaline. It also has a lot of Vitamin C.

Stevia comes from the stevia plant and is all-natural. It’s a great replacement for artificial sweeteners which are suspected to cause cancer. (Here is the brand I use).

1 glass of filtered water (12-16 oz)
2 tsbp of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp of lemon juice
1 dash of cayenne pepper
1 tsp. of cinnamon
1 teaspoon or 1 packet of Stevia powder

    Yeah, exactly! I mean of course not of a 100% concentration, but properly diluted with water.
